Due to a huge headlight recall by Nissan in the summer of 2008, there was a huge surplus of OEM Infiniti FX bi-xenon projectors on the market.

At the time it was easy to pick up a set of OEM FX bi-xenon projectors for next to nothing, making them the obvious choice for a decently performing bi-xenon retrofit. Unfortunately, there were no compatible and readily available clear lenses out there that could be used as an upgrade for the FX projectors to really bring out their full potential.

To fill that gap, TRS stepped up to the plate and delivers the FX-R clear lens.

These are now used on our extremely popular FX-R bi-xenon projectors as the stock lens.

Our FX-R clear lenses work wonders on the OEM Infiniti FX bi-xenon projectors with very little work, as they're designed to be a direct "drop in" upgrade.

To install, simply pry off the lens retainer, remove and replace the original lens, and test your output. Usually the cutoff line will be sharp/colorful right away, but if not - with 5 minutes of cutoff shield tweaking to find the sweet spot you'll be good to go.

Performance Benefit Summary

1. The upper light cutoff line emitted from your projectors will be much sharper and more defined.
2. There will be a blue/purple band of colorful light added to the upper light cutoff, which will greatly exaggerate that exotic color flicker effect emitted from the headlights as seen by oncoming traffic. (no need to fake the look anymore with cheesy high kelvin bulbs)
3. The actual light output itself will appear marginally brighter and wider since the 100% optically clear lens allows more light to pass through it compared to the original fresnel/foggy glass lens.
