General Questions

What if there is a problem with my order?

Contact us by phone at 614-653-3451, or via email through the contact page. We will do what it takes to make things right. If an item was damaged during shipping by UPS, we will issue a replacement for you without having to wait through the entire claim process.

What is the return policy?

Unless you specifically request and were approved a return allowance before ordering, we will not accept returns for refunds. However, you are free to return an item in exchange for credit towards another part. (For example, you ordered shroud "X" but changed your mind and now want to use shroud "Y") Your exchanged part must be in "as delivered" condition for full credit, not blemished or modified in any way.

What is the warranty policy?

Unless otherwise noted, all parts carry a one-year warranty. The customer will be responsible to return their defective part to us for inspection, and we will ship a replacement to them immediately upon receipt. TRS is not liable to replace parts that were improperly installed, modified (if electrical), or used with other incompatible components.

Does TRS also offer installation services?

No, TRS only concentrates on the development of retrofitting components and the supply of these parts. If you need a retrofit performed for you, please visit our Recommended Retrofitters page to find an installer.

Where should I get my headlights retrofitted?

Visit our Recommended Retrofitters page to view details and contact information for a number of professional retrofitting shops. They can do the retrofit and send your headlights back ready to install.

I sent an inquiry via email or through the contact page, how soon can I expect a reply?

E-mails are replied to in the order they are received Monday through Friday. We generally receive around 80-120 inquiries each day, and make an effort to get through all of them by the next day. Because each customer's questions deserve personalized answers, sometimes it may take up to two business days to receive a reply. For an immediate answer to your question, call us at 614-653-3451.

Why are the prices different on the TRS website vs. eBay?

eBay charges high seller fees which translate to the higher prices we charge there. Please do not buy from our eBay store, as you can get the exact same item direct from us for less money.

How are warranty exchanges processed for international buyers?

TRS will honor all warranties even for international buyers, but they will be responsible for all shipping costs on replacement parts sent (and returned if necessary)

Shipping and Payment Questions

Will TRS ship orders internationally?

Yes, we offer shipping world-wide and have served many customers in Canada, Mexico, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

What shipping methods are available, how long will delivery take?

Domestically, we offer shipping via UPS (Ground, 3 Day select, 2nd day air, and overnight) and USPS (First class, Priority, Express). Internationally, we offer USPS Priority Mail and Express Mail international as well as UPS expedited services. USPS first class is also available to Canada.

Are all items in stock, ready to ship?

Yes, but if a customer orders an item that ends up being out of stock - they can request either an upgrade to their shipping or a refund on any shipping costs that they paid.

When I track my order online, it only says "billing information received" - what does this mean?

Typically this means that the shipping label for your order was printed, but your item has not been scanned into the carriers system yet. USPS often doesn't scan labels until the package makes its first stop along the way (not on acceptance) but UPS tracking information should show an update the night it was picked up. If your tracking number shows no update for 2 or more days and you were not sent a backorder notification, please contact us.

When eligible for free shipping on an order, am I free to choose what service is used?

No, TRS reserves the right to ship domestic orders using UPS ground or USPS Priority mail. Orders going to Canada for free will go by USPS First Class mail by default, no exceptions. Free shipping offers are not applicable to customers in any country other than the US or Canada.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept payments via PayPal, Discover, AMEX, Visa, MasterCard, Money orders, and Western Union (for international buyers if requested)

How can I place an order?

There are four ways you can make an order

  1. Checkout directly through the website
  2. Order through eBay
  3. E-mail and request a custom PayPal invoice
  4. and Call us at 614-653-3451 and pay with a credit card over the phone

We invite you to select whatever method is most convenient for you.

Is wholesale pricing available?

Yes, we offer wholesale pricing to shops, individual retrofitters, and resellers. All items with the exception of OEM projectors are available at wholesale cost.

I selected UPS shipping but my order was shipped via USPS, why is this?

Unless we were specifically instructed not to- TRS reserves the right to substitute UPS ground shipments for USPS Priority mail only when it will expedite delivery of your item.

The US Postal Service generally does not scan their labels until the first stop along the way to their destination.

Just because the confirmation number reads no update, does not mean the package is not on it's way.
